Just for Fun: Fall “Would You Rather” Edition

Fall is finally here — the air is crisp, the sweaters are out, and the scent of apples and pumpkin spice fills the air!

Instead of a serious post this week, I thought we’d have a little fun together with a Fall “Would You Rather” game.

Grab your favorite drink, settle in with a cozy blanket, and let’s see how your fall favorites stack up against mine! Don’t forget to share your answers in the comments — I love hearing what other fall lovers think.

Apples vs. Hayrides: Which Fall Adventure Wins?

I’d have to say apple picking! There’s something magical about walking through rows of apple trees with a crisp breeze in the air. I’m lucky enough to live near The Elegant Farmer here in Wisconsin — home of the world-famous Apple Pie Baked in a Bag (trust me, it’s as amazing as it sounds!).

Hayrides are fun too, but they always feel more like a family activity — and as a single gal, I’m happy with my basket of apples and warm cider in hand!

Comfy Chic: Sweaters vs. Boots — The Ultimate Fall Fashion Dilemma

Why not both? A cozy sweater, skinny jeans, and tall boots are my fall uniform. Honestly, can any Midwestern girl even choose between them? They’re the perfect pair — like pumpkin pie and whipped cream!

Spooks or Feasts: Which Holiday Reigns Supreme?

I have to admit — Thanksgiving wins for me. As a youth services librarian, Halloween is busy: from not-so-scary storytimes to family trivia nights and our library’s annual Trunk-N-Treat, it’s nonstop fun but a lot of work!

Thanksgiving, though, is my chance to relax, eat delicious food, and recharge before the December chaos. Plus, hello — mashed potatoes and pie!

Wands vs. Witches: The Magic Showdown! Harry Potter vs. Halloweentown

Come on, is this even a question? Harry Potter, of course! It’s pure fall magic.

Curl Up or Create: Reading vs. Writing Edition

Reading, always! But I’ll admit — fall also gets my creativity flowing. There’s something about a chilly day, a candle, and a notebook that makes writing feel extra cozy.

Warm Cup Wars: Cocoa vs. Tea

Definitely hot cocoa! I’m not a fan of caffeine, so tea and coffee are out for me. My favorite cozy concoction? Swiss Miss Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa K-Cups mixed with a splash of Peppermint Mocha Creamer — hello, Peppermint Mocha Caramel Heaven!

Sticky Sweet Showdown: Candy vs. Caramel Apples

I’ll admit it — I’ve never had a candy apple! So caramel apples are my go-to treat. And if you want a fun twist, I highly recommend caramel apple pops — they’re pure nostalgia!

Witching Hour Flicks: Which Fall Movie Tops Your List?

It’s Hocus Pocus for me! Fall just isn’t complete without the Sanderson sisters causing chaos in Salem. I usually watch it more than once (okay, maybe a lot more than once).

Other fall favorites: Sleepy Hollow, The Addams Family (1991 version), and Casper. What’s on your Halloween watchlist?

Spells or Spirits: Who’s Your Fall Favorite?

I’m team witch, of course! I’ve dressed up as one more than a few times — it’s effortless and timeless. That said, I do love a good ghost story. My favorite spooky podcast is Two Girls One Ghost — if you like eerie tales and haunted history, you have to check it out!
